Please note that your credit card/PayPal account will be charged up on booking. If the local tour operator does not accept your booking, the charged amount will be credited back to the account from which the charge was drawn.
You can spend any odd number of nights in our compulsory Overnight stops. Many people opt for 3 or 5, but just remember 1 would just give you that evening and then you’re heading on the next morning. For the optional (Day stops), you can journey through and head for the next Overnight stop that day, or spend any even number of nights there. These are often the little gems and unexpected highlights.
Yes – just the one way round. There are still heaps of options with all our passes to get in all the places you want.
With our Hop-on Hop-off pass, once bought, you can instantly jump onto my trip and start planning your travel. Remember if you’re travelling any time, some sectors might fill up, so best to get things booked up.
Absolutely! The great thing about Busabout is that it’s so easy to meet like minded independent travellers and you’ll soon have heaps of new friends on the road. Also with Busabout’s Trip Mates and Community you can even get in touch even before you start (arrange a few beers down the hostel bar the night before maybe?) so heaps more fun than travelling on trains and buses yourself.

HOW DO I BOOK AN ACTIVITY

After booking you’ll receive one emails from us.
If you need to make any changes to your booking – such as removing a participant, changing the tour date or time, or editing your contact information, please contact Hoponhopoff via phone, Live Chat, or email.
If you simply need to change your contact information, we’ll be able to take care of that for you ourselves right away!
Please note that some venues/local suppliers cannot accept cancellations or date/time changes for a booking that has already been confirmed. Any non-standard refund or cancellation policies from the tour operator are stated on the tour page.
You will need to bring a copy of your ticket voucher (all local suppliers accept printed copies; some accept a display of your voucher on your mobile device) and a valid photo ID for the traveler named on the ticket (some activities will also require a valid ID for each participant but this will be stated on the ticket).
Of course! If you are purchasing an activity for someone else, you can enter that person’s information on the checkout page when you enter your reservation details.
On the checkout page, first please enter your own information in the billing details form. Then, in the “Traveller (Details on the ticket)” form, un-click the checkbox next to “Same as billing details.” This will open a new form where you can enter the name, email, and phone number of the lead traveller who will actually be going on the activity.
Please note that the booking confirmation and ticket voucher will be sent to the email address provided on the billing details form. The email in the traveler form will be used by the local supplier for important communication prior to the tour.

PROPLEMS AND CANCELLATIONS

Our Best-Price Guarantee ensures that you will never pay more than the local price for your booking. If you find your activity on another website, or if you arrive for the tour and the same activity is being offered for less by the same local tour operator, just let us know and we will refund the difference in price.
Keep in mind that this guarantee applies only to the same activity, operated by the same local tour company, priced in the same currency.
In order to request a refund, you’ll need to email the following information to us:
– your name and code
– proof of the lower price: a receipt, flyer, price list, link to another website, etc clearly showing the price, the title of the activity, and the name of the local tour company

We will verify the lower price information and issue the refund to you. Please note that refunds are at the discretion of Hoponhopoff. Refunds are automatically made to the credit card, PayPal account, or bank account from which your original payment was made.
A credit card can decline due to an invalid credit card number, expiration date, daily limit, insufficient funds, home address used instead of billing address or many other reasons. Sometimes banks put a limit or a restriction on a credit card charge. In this case, you may need to contact your credit card company for more information. Sometimes the card number itself is input incorrectly. Please check online to make sure the available credit card information is correct. You are welcome to give us a call to go over the credit card information by phone.
Hopon-hopoff.vn takes every precaution to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website/email system, your information is protected both online and off-line. When our registration/reservation form asks you to enter sensitive information (such as your credit card number), that information is encrypted and protected with the best encryption software in the industry – SSL. Our SSL technology is the most advanced 128 bit encryption. We use a credit card processing company to bill users for purchases and services. These companies do not retain share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. Hopon-hopoff.vn will only disclose personally identifiable information when required to by law.
Our price usually includes the tour reservation taxes. Gratuities for tour guides and bus drivers are not included in our prices. Gratuities will be paid at the time when you are on the tour. The minimum amount per day is located under the “Package Excludes” section on the tour’s detail page on our website. If you should wish to participate on any optional tours (located under the “Package Excludes” section), the payment will be due on tour to the tour guide.
We recommend that you book your tour as soon as all of your travel dates are set. This way we can secure your seats for your reservation as soon as possible. Many times our tours can become sold out. Tours that may show availability online can easily become sold out, depending on when the full payment for the reservation has been made.
